Available through Nexis Lexis. From main search page > Sources > Find Sources > Find a Source grey search box > type in "hoover's".

Provides company specific information in a series of pages headed "Fact Sheet," "Overview," "Products & Operations," and "Competitors."

Use the "Advanced Search" and select "Company/org" in the drop-down choices.

Mergent Online

Mergent tracks 10,000 public companies and their SEC filings. It "delivers a comprehensive suite of authoritative financial information with the accuracy, timeliness and transparency required in today''s marketplace."

The source also includes data on international companies.

Site is divided with tabs, Basic Search, Advanced Search, EDGAR search, Industry Reports.

Plunkett Research Online

Includes market research and trends analysis, glossaries, statistics, company profiles and contacts, and industry associations and organizations in a number of broad industries categories.

Standard & Poor's Net Advantage
