Plants USDA: Standardized information about the vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories. Good for finding common and scientific names of plants--use these for searching in other databases.
NUTDEF: Plant Nutrient Deficiency Database: Identify nutrient deficiencies of plants using plant or nutrient lists or a decision tree. Includes images of the deficient plants.
Least Wanted: Alien Plant Invaders of Natural Areas: Illustrated fact sheets on invasive alien plants with descriptions, ecological threats, distributions and habitats, reproduction and dispersal, management approaches, and other useful information.
GRIN Taxonomy for Plants: Provides information on scientific and common names, classification, distribution, references, and economic impacts. It covers all families and genera of vascular plants and over 40,000 species from throughout the world, especially economic plants and their relatives.
