Login Procedure for Current NCSU Faculty, Staff, and Students

1. After selecting a database, electronic journal, or (in many cases) a particular journal article, you will see the NC State Login page. If you are a current student or faculty or staff member, you have an automatically generated Unity ID and should log in with the default NC State University login (as pictured below).

2. You will then be asked for your UserID and Password (as pictured below). Learn the standard conventions for Unity IDs and passwords.

3. Upon successfully entering your Unity ID, you will be allowed to access the resource you selected.

NCSU Login is the only login page you should ever see: If you see a login page other than the NCSU Login page (https://webauth.ncsu.edu/wrap-bin/was.cgi) or are asked for a password other than your Unity ID or NCSU Libraries Patron ID, something is wrong. Please Ask a Librarian.
