Overview (Summer 2005)

The NCSU Libraries’ will have to cut serials this year and asks for your assistance in reviewing these titles. These proposed cancellations are driven by continuing and persistent inflation in the cost of scholarly journals and other electronic resources combined with a reduction of more than $250,000 in the Libraries' annual overhead allocation.  Using data collected over the past 5 years, Collection Management has identified journal titles for possible cancellation. The titles are listed both alphabetically and by subject in call number order.

The NCSU Libraries is committed to maintaining a collection of excellence that meets your research and learning needs. While we have made every effort to retain those titles deemed critical to research and teaching, this cancellation will be a loss for the collection and we will work with you to minimize the impact.
