Collection Management and the NCSU Libraries Digital Scholarship and Publishing Center work in partnership to educate the University community about scholarly communication issues and to help foster competitive alternatives to current publishing models.

We have developed a short talk titled "Reclaiming Scholarship" which we are able to present to departments, research units, classes, or other groups or individuals at your request.

This presentation discusses the negative impact that the rising costs of journal subscriptions can have on faculty at academic institutions, and gives some recommendations for what faculty can do to help alleviate the problem.
