Centennial Campus Services : Resources
The NCSU Libraries has one of the world's leading research collections with
strengths in the following areas:
Agriculture, Architecture, Biological Sciences, Design, Engineering,
Entomology, Forest Resources, Industrial Standards, Mathematics, Physical Sciences,
Product Catalogs, Statistics, Textiles, and Veterinary Medicine
These subject areas, along with many others, are represented in the following types
of resources.
Books
The NCSU Libraries collection includes over 3.2 million
volumes. All works are accessible through the Libraries'
online catalog.
Journals
The NCSU Libraries has over 51,000 print and electronic
serial subscriptions, which can be access through the Libraries'
online catalog and
our E-journal finder.
Databases
The NCSU Libraries subscribes to over 300 article databases and
other electronic resources. All resources are available to patron's in any NC State
library. The University's core community of faculty, staff and students may access
electronic resources on and off campus. Most resources are also fully accessible to
the Centennial Campus affiliates.
Standards, Patents & Trademarks
Due to NC State's strengths in engineering and the sciences
the NCSU Libraries maintains a rich collection of standards, patents and trademarks.
For standards that are not currently in our collection the Libraries provides a
standards-on-demand service. We are also a
patent and trademark depository library.
