Special Collections holdings

The Special Collections Research Center is its own library in the Unicorn system: SPECCOLL.

There are several different options for the home location within SPECCOLL:

ARCHIVES For University Archives material
AUCTIONCAT A special location for the Sotheby's and Christie's auction catalogs
DUKESHADOW For materials housed at the Duke Storage Center in Durham
EXHIBITS For materials currently on exhibit (and therefore not in their departmental location)
MANUSCRIPT For material in the manuscript collection
OVERSIZE SPECCOL General stacks Folio
OVERSIZE2 SPECCOL General stacks Folio 2
REF For material shelved within the Special Collections reference area
REF-OVER SPECCOL Reference Folio material
REF-OVER2 SPECCOL Reference Folio 2 material
SPEC-D Special Collections materials at Duke Storage
STACKS For most non-manuscript materials held in SPECCOL
