Metadata & Cataloging Department
The Metadata and Cataloging Department provides effective, accurate tools that assist patrons in locating information resources of value
to them, either locally or remotely through the Internet. We have responsibility for the bibliographic content of the Libraries'
public catalog, as well as the Scholarly Publications Repository and
Design Library Image Collection database. The Department
is also responsible for physically organizing the Libraries' print and audio-visual collections through classification of those
materials.
