ERIC The primary database for the education discipline, ERIC is the world's largest source of education information. The ERIC database consists of two files: the Resources in Education (RIE) file of document (ED) citations and the Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE) file of journal article (EJ) citations from over 750 professional journals. The database contains more than 1 million abstracts (and some full text) of education-related documents and journal articles, with coverage back to 1966.
Academic search premier A multi-disciplinary full text database containing full text for nearly 4,700 publications, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed publications.
Dissertations & theses Includes citations for over 2.3 million dissertations and theses from around the world, ranging from 1861 to those accepted last semester. Dissertations published from 1980 forward include 350-word abstracts; master's theses from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. Where available, PQDT provides twenty-four page previews. In addition, more than 750,000 are available for download in PDF format (digital dissertations and theses are archived as submitted by the degree-granting institution. Some will be native PDF, some PDF image).
PsycINFO PsycINFO, from the American Psychological Association (APA), contains more than 2 million citations and summaries of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as the 1800s. The database also includes information about the psychological aspects of related fields such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business, law and others. Journal coverage, which spans 1887 to present, includes international material selected from nearly 2,000 periodicals in more than 25 languages.
