| 1. What is WolfBlogs? |
- WolfBlogs is a blogging service that allows current NC State students, faculty, and staff to create blogs for themselves or for groups. WolfBlogs is provided by the NCSU Libraries and intended to support the curricular and academic activities of the NC State community.
|
| 2. Why would I want to create a WolfBlog? |
- It's fun and easy. A weblog (also called blog) is a simple and convenient way for individuals to create websites, or for clubs and groups to disseminate information about events and activities online. A blog is also a great way to create an online discussion group.
- For faculty, WolfBlogs is also an excellent way to stimulate discussion with and among students, convey announcements, or explain assignments.
- See examples of how blogs can be used.
|
| 3. Who can read my blog? |
- By default, blogs created using the WolfBlogs service are public and viewable by anyone, anywhere.
- Blogs that are publicly viewable may also be indexed by search engines like Google.
- If you allow comments for your blog, anyone -- including non-NCSU readers -- will be able to make comments.

| 4. What does the Getting Started Guide cover? |
- This Getting Started Guide is intended for the absolute beginner. It visually walks you through some very basic steps in creating your blog. It shows you how to do some of the more popular things people do with their blog, such as inserting images and allowing others to post comments.
