The NCSU Libraries Research and Information Services (RIS) Department provides assistance and support for reference questions from visitors of the NC State University AgNIC Site.

Please do not use this form to ask insect identification questions. Insects are difficult to impossible to identify without seeing a specimen. Please direct any identification questions to your state land-grant university or county Cooperative Extension Service agent. If you have an identification question, it is best to try to preserve the specimen so that it can be positively identified. See our links on preserving insects.
